B2C Platform POC
CASE NR.1
Overview
Project duration: 2022 September - 2023 April
Product: B2C product for plumbers and people who need plumbing services. The main purpose is to make communication between plumbers and customers as easy as possible and to have all the information about the job in one place.
My Role
I was part of a team of: 1 XD director, 1 UX researcher, Senior UX/UI designer, UX/UI designer, and PM. I contributed to wireframes, defined the visual direction, and was responsible for creating an interactive Axure prototype.


Proposals
Problem:
Plumbers face problems with sharing proposals with homeowners and have unnecessary discussions after installation
Solution:
The app has built-in functionality for creating proposals
The plumber can mark the proposal that is recommended.
Homeowner chooses their preferred proposal in the app, which can be reviewed anytime.
Homeowners can choose any additional services if needed.


App Overview - Plumber Flow
The main goal is to create a flow in which plumbers can manage jobs, and communicate with the homeowner.
Solutions:
The list of active and archived jobs, with search and sorting
The app has a calendar with all the jobs.
Creating a new job plumber can choose if the client is returning and get information prepopulated.
The app has an in-built messaging and calling function
Every job has proposal and agreement management.


App Overview - Homeowner Flow
The main goal was to create a homeowner flow where customers could review proposals, communicate with the plumber, and keep job-related information in one place.
Solutions:
Ability to view proposals
Direct communication with the plumber via messaging and calling
Review rebates


Axure Prototype
To support further client-led user testing, I created a more advanced Axure prototype with interactive input fields, stored information, and desktop adaptation.
Created an interactive Axure prototype for client-led testing.
Designed job, proposal, agreement, messaging, and calendar flows.
Helped validate the B2C service workflow before development.
